Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog!  I hope to share some insights that will encourage you and help you grow into all that God has called you to be.  Thus I introduce to you "The Call."

The devotional I just read a few minutes ago talked about how our loved ones who have died believing in Jesus are with him now. My mom is there with him.

It also said that they will also come with him when he returns.  So we don't have to fear death or danger.  No matter what this world throws at us, if we are trusting in Christ, we have a hope that can save us from the worst that this world has to give. 

Romans 8:38-39 says: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

And as The Message version puts it: " The One who died for us - who was raised to life for us -is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ's love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture... absolutely nothing can get between us and God's love." (Romans 8:34,35,39)

If we come to the place where we accept Christ's gift of forgiveness, He opens the way into a new relationship with God that goes beyond death. Then we can know that He can get us through anything else we experience in life - no matter what.  He is that good and He is that able!
